This site is a tribute to Susan Kennedy. She is much loved and will always be remembered.

Mum wasn't someone who you'd refer to as frail or elderly.  Life wasn't as easy for her after we lost Dad, but she was able to find comfort in gardening and research of our family tree among other things, but especially with family and her grandchildren.  No matter how peaceful it was, her unexpected passing has left a hole in our lives which can never be filled.

The last few years haven't been kind, but Mum was always there for us; she felt our pain just as deeply as we did.  Knowing how sudden her passing was, she would feel it now even moreso.

We had 25 years with Dad and 40 with Mum, that time feels like it's too short, but we're far from oblivious as to how lucky we were.  We're the people we are now thanks to their guidance & we continue to make the best of our lives, because that's exactly what Mum and Dad would've wanted for us.
